In 2017 I was asked to design a poster for the San Antonio Symphony Mastersingers' performance of Handel's Messiah. For the composition, I took inspiration from the star of Bethlehem and the liturgical blue color used for advent in the Christian Church. When choosing typography, I chose a serif font with a more elegant look for the title to help it stand out. In order to ensure that readers were able to find and understand the information they needed, I used a simpler font for the rest of the text.
